It was a amazing to hear what all these great thinkers think about sleep! Have you looked into the concept of lucid dreaming? I've heard some people have used this state to practice a skill, solve a problem, etc. I've always wanted to commit to trying it but it seems quite difficult to induce!

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the comment! I've heard of lucid dreaming, without ever having researched it properly. I've heard it is a trainable skill though which is very interesting!

I never understood people who say sleeping is a waste of time. It’s so good. I dream practically every night and usually remember my dreams (I also tend to be aware I’m dreaming, but choose to go along for the ride).

They’ve vivid and complex, sometimes scary, but better than most of the things on movie theaters right now — the most beautiful thing I ever saw happened in one of my dreams (it was four years ago and I still remember it clearly).

My dreams often inspire or make me reflect about things that wouldn’t normally come to mind, at least not in the same way.
